This series is a body of work in progress. These works have the image of a girl riding on the back of a black sheep holding a staff as the main character. The image originated from an embroidered hankercheif that I found at an antique market, from here the inspiration was born. The background images are Mexican folk characters who represent a darker side of life. The playfullness of the images balances the seriousness of the metaphor.
